Electronic Nose Analysis to Detect Milk Obtained from Pasture-Raised Goats

The nutritional peculiarities of dairy products made with milk from pasture-fed ruminants would require a rapid control to be authenticated and limit the risk fraud. In current study, ninety samples two groups goats were analysed by electronic nose, quantitative descriptive sensory (QDA) gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis aim discriminating between produced on grazing confinement feeding system. raw taken at five different times over period three months (April, May June 2021) eighteen individual Saanen divided into groups, one which was fed outdoors highly biodiverse pasture. Linear discriminant (LDA), carried out nose data, able classify types in terms an animal system (88% correct classification). Terpene compounds chemical class that qualitatively differentiates pasture while volatile fatty acids most present quantitatively. Electronic has proven rapid, reproducible simple method authenticating routine analyses.
